Our very own and the best we've found anywhere!   Holds reed in place while scarfing rims with a drawknife or Stanley Shaver.

Now available in a handy portable size:  only 3" x 14" and works just as well as our old 4" X 18" size

REED_PULLER.JPG (16961 bytes)Reed Puller, our own design........$22.00
No more fighting with a tangled mess of reed.  You'll love it!
Mount our reed puller on the wall or use a C-clamp to secure it to a table.
Just lift the bar, insert your reed and you're ready to pull out one piece at a time!
Especially effective for round reed.  The bar naturally tightens as there is less reed in the bundle.

ADHESIVES
Insta-Cure 1 oz............$5.25
Insta-Cure 1/2 oz.........$2.99
Works great on wet reed or wood.  Very similar to super glue except that it takes several seconds to dry making it possible to adjust what you are gluing.  Works great for gluing reed into slotted bases or repairing cracked or broken reed.
Great for bonding shaker tape to itself or to reed or wood.  Makes a solid bond for
gluing wooden accents to reed or wood.

Store in refrigerator for longer shelf life.  Do not store with Insta Set.  Be sure tip is clean before recapping or glue will accumulate in the tip and you will no longer get a tight seal.   Applying a bit of petroleum jelly to the tip before each use makes it possible to wipe glue off the tip with a paper towel before recapping.

Insta-Set..............$5.25
Insta-Set is a catalyst which acts as an accelerator that allows Insta-Cure to set
immediately.  For difficult to bond materials, it can be applied to one surface and
Insta-Cure to the other surface.  When brought together, they will bond instantly.

Store away from Insta-cure glue.

Debonder............$4.95
To remove glue from fingers, reed, wood, etc.

Cyanoacrylates (CA's) are high quality adhesives for hobby and household applications.
When used properly, a bond forms that is, in many cases, stronger than the material
being adhered.

Butane Torch........$15.00
Use to burn the hairs off basket.   Spray basket with water.  Hold torch so that flame is parallel to basket, not pointed at basket.  Do not hold flame in one place more than a couple of seconds.

Screwblock............$6.50
Use when making a square base with round reed.

Canvas Tool Bag with 18 pockets.......$22.00

Bib Apron........ $20.00
The longest and widest apron we could find anywhere.  Adjustable neck strap, two large pockets, ties at waist.
