BASKETS OF LOVE

334 Baskets of Love 2009 are completed, donations are in and we will be filling the baskets on Thursday Dec. 10.   We are still looking for volunteers to help fill the baskets.  Call 888-424-9866 if you are available to help.

About Baskets of Love:  Every year in October & November, we at East Troy Basketry, with the help of our customers, local merchants and neighbors give away handmade baskets to area shut-ins who receive Meals On Wheels.   We design a new basket eachyear and we invite anyone interested to come and weave a basket to donate. No experience needed.  

We accept donations for filling the baskets up until Dec.1st each year.  We need individually wrapped cookies, candy and snacks,  individually wrapped tea, coffee or cocoa packets, playing cards, purse size kleenex, chapstick, hand lotion, note cards, pads of paper, pens and pencils etc.  If you prefer, we do accept money and then we will shop for what is still needed.

Volunteers interested may sign up for one of these classes in October or November 2010.  Please check back for class dates and times.
